Following the popularity of our original Definitely Decaf coffees, we've created a whole "Definitely Decaf by Raw Bean" range with six exciting new single origins, all decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process.
This coffee is our Guatemalan Antigua cultivated by the dedicated farmers of the FEDECOCAGUA cooperatives on small plots and family farms across Huehuetenango, Coban, Verapaz, Retalhuleu, San Marcos, and Zacapa. Grown at elevations up to 1,400 meters, these specialty beans undergo rigorous quality grading before reaching your cup.
The microclimates, high altitude, ample rainfall, and mineral-rich soil yield a complex and sweet brew with a hint of spiciness, dark chocolate, toffee apple, and a rich, satisfying finish.

Some decaffeination methods can affect flavour, body and aroma, that’s why we use the Swiss Water® Process for the specialty coffees in our Definitely Decaffeinated range. This gentle process is 100% free of chemical solvents and preserves the unique characteristics of each of these single origins.

Is Raw Bean decaf really caffeine-free?
Our decaf is made with the Swiss Water® Process, which removes 99.9% of the caffeine — about as close to caffeine-free as decaf gets, while keeping the full flavour and aroma.
Are any chemicals used to decaffeinate it?
No. The Swiss Water® Process is 100% chemical-free — it uses only water, temperature and time to remove the caffeine, so nothing but the caffeine is taken away.
