South America Coffees

Coffee from South America — the backbone of the range

Brazil grows more coffee than any other country on earth, and Colombia isn't far behind. Between them they set the standard most people mean when they say "a good cup of coffee": sweet, nutty, dependable. Peru, growing higher up the Andes, is where our Fairtrade Organic beans come from.

Why is our decaf South American?

Colombian and Brazilian beans hold their flavour through the Swiss Water® Process better than almost any origin. That's why the Definitely Decaf range is built on them, from 200g bags up to 1kg beans — sweet, nutty cups with nothing missing but the caffeine.

Colombian vs Brazilian — what's the difference?

Colombian is the brighter of the two, with a red-fruit sweetness. Brazilian is softer and nuttier, which is why it's the classic espresso base. Peruvian sits in between: clean, gentle, slightly honeyed.

Full caffeine or none — the caffeinated beans and the decaf range both draw from this shelf. Or take out a subscription and never run out.
