Sumatran coffee is the opposite of Africa's bright florals. Heavy body, low acidity, dark chocolate and a bit of spice. The beans are wet-hulled, a processing method more or less unique to Indonesia, and that's where the famous earthiness comes from.

Why is Sumatran coffee good for decaf?
Because it starts with so much body, it keeps its character through decaffeination better than lighter coffees do. Ours is Definitely Decaf: Swiss Water® Process, 100% chemical free, and honestly one of the fullest-flavoured decafs we make.
Is Sumatran coffee strong?
