No mess, no fuss.

Proper coffee anywhere.

No grinder, no filter. Just add hot water, squeeze, infuse and remove.

Stripped back, not compromised

String and tag, no fishing

A proper tag on a string, so you lift it out clean. No burnt fingers fishing a soggy square bag out of near-boiling water in a hotel room, a tent or on a plane.

12g, the proper amount

Some bags skimp at around 7.5g. Ours holds 12g, the amount the Speciality Coffee Association recommends for a 220ml mug. Enough coffee to roast for flavour, not to force it dark.

Made from plants, not oil

The bag is a plant-based mesh made from GMO-free corn starch, so it goes straight in your food waste bin. Cardboard box for the paper recycling, LDPE pouch for the supermarket soft plastics. Full of flavour, easy to get rid of.

Coffee that fits in a rucksack

We made the UK's first pyramid coffee bag back in 2017, for exactly this. The pyramid gives the grounds room to swell and infuse properly, so you get a full cup, not a weak one. No machine to pack, no grinder, nothing to clean, and nothing left behind but the wrapper you take home.

You still need hot water, a kettle, a stove or a flask you filled before you left, but that is the only kit involved.

A proper 12g in every bag

Most coffee bags are under-filled. Some use around 7.5g. We use 12g, the amount the Speciality Coffee Association recommends for a 220ml mug.

It matters more than it sounds. Put less coffee in the bag and you have to roast it darker and harsher to force the strength through. With the right amount in there, we can roast for balance and flavour instead of covering for a weak dose. Same few minutes in the mug, a better cup at the end of it.

Caffeinated or decaf, brewed the same way

Bean Bags in both. The pyramid gives the grounds room to move, so you get a full, filter-strength cup. Add hot water, squeeze, infuse, lift it out. The reward after a cold swim, or the first cup before a long day.

Questions

Do I need a stove?

You need a way to heat water: a camp stove, a JetBoil, or a flask you filled before you set off. After that, nothing. Drop a bag in your mug, add the hot water, give it three or four minutes and lift it out.

What are the bags made of, and how do I bin them?

The pyramid bag is a non-woven, plant-based mesh made from GMO-free corn starch, so it goes in your food waste bin with the grounds. The box is cardboard for your paper recycling, and the LDPE pouch and individual wrappers go in the soft-plastic recycling that supermarkets collect at the front of store. Made from plants, full of flavour, and simple to sort.

Caffeinated or decaf?

Both, and both brew exactly the same way. The decaf is Swiss Water Process, and BBC Countryfile named our decaf bags a best decaf in 2025.

How many cups does one bag make?

One good, filter-strength mug per bag.
