Developed for use in espresso machines, this ESPRESSO GROUND version of our popular Definitely Decaffeinated is prepared with a finer grind.

Just like our original, Great Taste award winning, Definitely Decaf ground, it is a medium roast, 100% Arabica, single origin coffee from Quindío, Colombia. The espresso has a smooth, creamy body, notes of dark cocoa and walnuts and a subtle clean finish. 

Gently decaffeinated using the ecologically friendly Swiss Water® Process, this is a decaf coffee with no compromise on taste or aroma. 

Unlike some decaffeination methods, the Swiss Water® Process is 100% chemical free. Using water, this process removes 99.9% of the caffeine without affecting the flavour, body and aroma of this unique origin. The best of the bean remains while only the caffeine is removed, allowing you to have a great tasting coffee at any time of day. 

Ideal for home use or small café who only have one grinder and still want a high quality decaf.

Not suitable for cafetiere, pour-over or filter coffee machines. If you intend to use one of these, please select our original Definitely Decaf ground coffee instead, which is an omni-grind better suited to these brewing methods.

Is Raw Bean decaf really caffeine-free?
Our decaf is made with the Swiss Water® Process, which removes 99.9% of the caffeine — about as close to caffeine-free as decaf gets, while keeping the full flavour and aroma.
Are any chemicals used to decaffeinate it?
No. The Swiss Water® Process is 100% chemical-free — it uses only water, temperature and time to remove the caffeine, so nothing but the caffeine is taken away.
Can I subscribe and save?

I love my coffee but due to a recent diagnosis of a gastric issue, I had to forego drinking it for a while. However, I found out that drinking naturally decaffeinated coffee was less likely to affect me, so I found Raw Bean Definitely Decaffeinated and I can now enjoy a cup of coffee again! It has a smooth, mellow flavour with a hint of chocolate - great for any time of day!

This is the only decaffeinated ground coffee I've found that has a real rich coffee flavour, these guys really do take decaff seriously. It's made by the Swiss water process and not using chemicals - nobody wants chemicals in their coffee! Delivery is quick and efficient and you also have the choice of ordering by regular subscription if you prefer. I love it that it's a small independent company too.
