Cup profile: Once roasted and ground, this coffee offers aromas of honey, maple syrup, raspberry jam and a hint of fresh, unsalted churned butter. On tasting, notes of fruity blueberry and blackcurrant come through and a black tea like astringency. Medium bodied with a clean aftertaste and a fruity balance.

Available in bags of 250g, 500g or 1kg for home roasting. ROAST BEFORE CONSUMPTION.

The Sidama Coffee Farmers’ Cooperative Union (SCFCU) represents 53 primary cooperative societies and over 80,000 farmers making it the second largest coffee producing cooperative union in Ethiopia. Nearly all coffee produced by their member cooperatives is shade grown in low densities under the canopies of indigenous trees and enset, a staple food crop. Members of SCFCU have been growing and processing Sidamo type coffee for more than 35 years, and are now producing approximately about 10,000 tons of high quality organic Arabica beans per year, 95% of which is washed.

Coffee is Fairtrade certified, traded, audited and sourced from Fairtrade producers, total 100%. For more visit info.fairtrade.net/sourcing FFLM0071
